Britain Alone

Below are lessons to complete your project on the topic of Britain Alone during World War Two. We suggest completing two a week, each one is designed to take an hour.

Lesson 1: WWII and Western Europe

Lesson objectives:

  1. All will be able to understand the causes of WW2 and why appeasement failed.

  2. Most will be able to explain why Germany was able to successfully invade Western Europe.

  3. Some will be able to make inferences evaluating the importance of Winston Churchill.
